Deirdre Maguire

Deirdre has followed in the foot-steps of her father, Bryan, and has inherited his strong work ethic. Having in excess of 15 years’ experience working in this firm, Deirdre specialises in Family Law which involves advising private clients on Divorce, Judicial Separation, Separation Agreements, Cohabitation and Civil Partnerships Law and applications before the Circuit Court. Her work also involves representing clients in the District Court for maintenance, custody, access, guardianship and domestic violence proceedings. Deirdre is a solicitor on the Family Law Legal Aid Board panel.
Deirdre has extensive experience in Probate, Wills and Estate Planning and Succession Law, Fair Deal applications, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Care Representative Applications. Deirdre also deals with Licensing Law and court applications for all licensing matters.
Deirdre specialises in residential property law and conveyancing. She represents clients in the area of residential purchases, sales, mortgages and voluntary transfer of property. She also has particular interest in advising clients on Farm Partnerships and Agricultural transfers, C.P.O.s , leasing, Landlord and Tenant and Wind Farm Option Agreements.
She has been a volunteer with FLAC (Free Legal Advice Centre) for 15 years and also lectures on legal issues to Teagasc agricultural students
